【Notice 公告】About the Visa extension and ARC--有關簽證及居留證相關事項

Dear all,
For those who arrive in Taiwan around the end of August, 2015, please check if it's time to extend your visa.  For visa extension, please come to the office and fill in the application form 3 days in advance.  (Note: Students who are absent for more than one-third of the class hour are not allowed to apply for the visa extension.)
 
For those who had studied here for four months, you can apply for the ARC now.  Please fill in the application form in the office and pay the tuition for December-February (Winter Quarter) first.  (Note: If you already have been here for almost 180 days, you must apply ARC without any excuses if you want to stay in Taiwan, otherwise, you have to leave Taiwan and apply for a new visa)

Before you apply, please go to the hospital to do the health check first.
(Note: Students who are absent for more than a quarter of the class hour are not allowed to apply for the ARC.)
 
Please prepare the following documents for the ARC application:
1. Passport (within six months)
2. Certificate of enrollment (made by CLC)  (The tuition of next term(Dec~Feb,2016) should be paid in advance to get the certificate.  Please come to CLC office and take the payment sheet.)
3. Attendance record (made by CLC)
4. Transcript (made by CLC)
5. Health Check Report (It will usually takes 7-10 days to get the report, so it's highly recommended to do this first then apply the required documents at CLC)

各位同學：
 
大家好！
若您於2015年8月底入境台灣，請檢查您的簽證是否已到期。若需要延長簽證請至辦公室填寫申請表，謝謝！
(請注意：若需要延長簽證，缺課時數不得超過總時數三分之一。)
 
若您已就讀滿四個月，現在即可申請居留證。若您需要申請居留證也請至中心填寫申請表，謝謝！
因為健康檢查報告要等一個星期，請先至醫院體檢。另外，移民署需要最新的出席紀錄。如果你申請後沒有馬上去辦理，請再回來中心重新申請。
(請注意：若需要辦理居留證，缺課時數不得超過總時數四分之一。)
 
申請居留證請準備以下文件：
1.護照(效期六個月以上)
2.註冊在學證明書(需要先付清下一期12-2月學費，請到華語中心辦公室領取繳費單)
3.上課出缺席記錄證明(辦理居留證需要最近的紀錄，拿到文件後請盡快辦理)
4.成績單
5.健康證明(通常拿到報告需要1個星期。建議先做健康檢查後再來辦公室申請其他文件)

【ＡＴＴＥＮＴＩＯＮ ﹗﹗ 請注意】

Starting from April 9, 2012, ROC visa forms need to first access website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw, fill out the visa application forms online and then print them out. The completed forms with bar codes and other required documents ought to be submitted to the ROC ’s overseas missions which the applications have selected while filling out their application forms. The offline application forms will no longer be accepted.

請注意，從四月九日開始，若您需要去外交部領事事務局辦理本國(R.O.C.)簽證等相關事宜，請先至該局網站https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw 申請填寫線上表格，填寫完畢後，請自行下載列印並攜帶至外交部領事事務局辦理簽證等相關業務。
