숙명여대, 해외 영어교육기관 참여한 SM-ELTeach 프로그램 발표

12일 숙명여자대학교(총장 황선혜)가 세계 최고 명성을 지닌 교육기관들과 공동으로 운영하는 온라인 명품 영어교사교육 프로그램을 발표했다.숙명여대 TESOL은 본교 백주년기념관 삼성컨벤션센터에서 ‘TESOL BEYOND’ 행사를 열고, 미 최대 교과서 출판사인 센게이지 러닝과 내셔널지오그래픽 러닝이 공동으로 개발하고 숙명 콘텐츠가 결합된 ‘SM-ELTeach’를 새롭게 선보였다. 사진은 경청하는 참가자들의 모습.(사진제공=숙명여대)

 

숙대, 세계적 영어교육기관과 온라인 영어 프로그램 운영

숙명여자대학교(총장 황선혜)가 세계적 명성을 지닌 교육기관들과 공동으로 온라인 영어 교육 프로그램을 운영한다.
숙명여대 테솔(TESOL)은 오는 12일 본교 백주년기념관 삼성컨벤션센터에서 ‘테솔 비욘드(TESOL BEYOND)’ 행사를 연다고 밝혔다. 이날 미국 최대 교과서 출판사인 센게이지 러닝과 내셔널지오그래픽 러닝이 공동으로 개발하고 숙명 콘텐츠가 결합된 ‘SM-ELTeach’를 새롭게 선보일 예정이다. 토익·토플 주관사인 ETS는 ELTeach의 성취도 평가를 주관한다.
SM-ELTeach는 디지털 수업을 이끌어나가기 위해 개발된 첨단 온라인 교사 교육 서비스다. 세계 9개국에서 서비스 중인 ELTeach를 기반으로 숙명여대의 교육 콘텐츠가 결합됐다. 총 100시간의 온라인 수업을 마치면 ETS와 숙명 TESOL이 수여하는 영어교사자격증을 취득할 수 있다.
